Julia E. (Cernauskas) Derosier, 91 of 10 Dewey St., died
Wednesday, January 25 at the Odd Fellows Home in Worcester. She was the wife
of Henry J. Derosier who died in 1987. She leaves a daughter Theresa Parker
wife of David of Spencer, a step-son Raymond F. Derosier of Maine, two
step-daughters Rita Vasale of Milford and Gloria Robertson of CA, three
brothers George Cernauskas of Worcester, Joseph Cernauskas of Wheelright and
John Cernauskas of North Brookfield, three sisters Helen Hart of North
Brookfield, Barbara Pierce of North Brookfield and Nellie Kozlowski of
Monson, two grandsons David J.J. Parker of Spencer and Dustin T. Parker of
Leicester, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Derosier was born in Barre, daughter of George I. and Annie
(Kudzinite) Cernauskas. She worked for many years at the former Klevin Shoe
in North Brookfield and Spencer. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts and was an accomplished seamstress. In her
lifetime she raised many dogs and horses.
The funeral will be held Friday Jan. 27 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL
HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the
Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will be in Worcester County
Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be from 8:30-9:30 AM Friday. In
lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spencer Rescue Squad,
