Obituary

Gail E. Webb
June 2, 1943-November 7, 2019

Gail E. Webb, 76, passed away on November 7, 2019, peacefully in his sleep after a less than 4 week battle with AML leukemia.

Gail is lovingly remembered by his wife, Paulette; children; grandchildren, extended family and nieces/nephews and friends. Throughout their 51 years of marriage, God blessed them with three amazing children: daughter, Anita (Pat) Lauer of PA; daughter, Rosalie (Brian) Alvey; and son, Nathan (Sarah) Webb. Gail has nine grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Zachary, Isaac, Jesse, Christian, Noah, Jacob, Elijah, and Rosie.

Gail was born on June 2, 1943 in Shippenville, PA to Harold and Thelma (Hahn) Webb as the 6th of 7 children. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Richard (Maxine) Webb, Sally (Paul) Strong, Philip (Toots) Webb, and Ralph (Mary) Webb. Surviving Gail is his sister, Ruth ( Dick) Aaron of OH and his brother, John (Phidelis) Webb of PA. He dearly loved his family.

After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the United States Navy. Gail retired from General Motors after 30+ years. His time with family was the joy and blessing of his life. Fishing, Camping, boating, Traveling, woodworking, gardening, building construction, and ushering at East Side Church of God (35+) years were a few of his favorites. To his family, he gave of himself. He was a wise, gentle teacher of many things and a solid Godly man.

Friends at Maple Grove Church of God, East Side Church of God and Madison Park Church of God have all been an important part of Gail's life. Gail was a Christian and heaven is now his home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to Madison Park Church of God or a charity of your choice. If there is a special memory you have of Gail, you are encouraged to share it in writing and give it to a family member.

Please dress in casual apparel.
