SPRINGFIELD ~ Kai Francis Washington and Quest Anthony Washington, beloved twin sons of Brandon A. Washington and Charlie J. Flores, were Called Home to join God’s Little Angels. Kai and Quest were born on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Quest was Called Home on Thursday, October 31, 2019 and Kai was Called Home on Friday, November 1, 2019. During their short lives, they were loved and cherished by their beloved family. In addition to their parents, they will be deeply missed by their brother, Eris Vega; their sisters, Analis Washington and Mayla Medina; their paternal relatives including their grandparents, Louis Washington of Springfield and Dashima (Marcial) Washington of Springfield; their aunts, Dashima “Krystal” Boyd of Pittsfield and Sojlanda Marcial of Maspeth, NY; and their uncle, Louis Washington, Jr. of Springfield. Kai and Quest will also be deeply missed by their maternal relatives including their grandmother, Cheryl Gayfield of Chicopee; their grandfather, Isauro “Charlie” Flores and his wife, Kathleen Marshall, of Springfield; their aunts, Amy Nava and her husband, Joaquin, of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer M. Meade of Monson, Amanda Diaz and her husband, David, of Springfield and Destiny Flores and her companion, Derek, of Springfield; their uncles, Paul Gayfield and his wife, Ashley Meade, of Chicopee, Francis J. Meade IV and his wife, Monica, of Palmer and Andrew Cruz of Springfield; and their many cousins, extended family members and friends. Kai and Quest were predeceased by their dear maternal relatives including their grandfather, Francis J. “Frank” Meade III who was Called Home on February 13, 2019; their great-grandparents, Vernon E. Bonville who was Called Home on January 12, 1994 and Pearl M. (Coderre) Bonville who was Called Home on September 8, 2014; their great-aunts, Lisa M. Meade who was Called Home on November 30, 2001 and Debora N. “Deb” (Meade) Hale who was Called Home on September 16, 2017; and their cousin, Joshua J. “Josh” Buffoni who was Called Home on August 7, 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Kai and Quest on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. which will be followed by a 3 p.m. Prayer Service at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (the funeral home will open at 1 p.m.). The parking lot is located in the rear. Their burial will be private at the convenience of their family.
