Nancy Giovannini, 85 of Somerville died Saturday January 21 after a brief illness in the JFK Medical Center, of West Palm Beach, FL.
Born in Italy, she lived in Somerville since 1937 and was the daughter of the late Lucinda (Pellegrini) and Francesco Giovannini. Nancy had worked at Schraffts as a packer.
Beloved wife of the late Battista Giovannini. Devoted mother of Joseph Giovanni and his wife Rose of Somerville and the late Olga Giovannini. Loving sister of Josephine Barsanti and her husband Paul of Woburn. Dear aunt of Sandra Risbey and her husband Rick of Canada, Franca Richard and her husband Jack of Winchester. Great aunt of Alexandra, Paul, and Cristina.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
