Eileen M. (Mc Innis) Smith, 83, died Monday Jan. 23, 2006 at the Warde Health Center, Windham, NH after a long illness.
She was born in Concord, NH, the daughter of James and Rose (Keenan) Mc Innis. She lived in Quechee, VT during her early years and later lived in Concord and Penacook, NH.
She graduated from Mt. St. Mary Seminary and Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing In Manchester, NH.
She was a registered nurse having worked in the Concord area for 34 years at the Concord Hospital, Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association and before her retirement, she was employed by the State of NH Dept. of Health Services as the nurse for the State House and the Legislature.
She was a member of the Carmelite Guild and Retired Chapter SEA.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Robert Smith and a brother Richard Mc Innis.
Family members include her sisters, Ruth West and Sr. Kathleen Mc Innis, RSM of Manchester, NH, her sister-in-law Marlene Mc Innis of Bedford, NH, a nephew and several nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at the Warde Health Center in Windham, NH followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Penacook, NH at the convenience of the family.
