Lakeville- Steven J. Stec, 46, of Lakeville, formerly of East Bridgewater, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Lakeville. He was the husband of Terri J. (Douzanis) Stec for 25 years.
Born in Brockton, the son of Sophie (Rack) Stec of East Bridgewater and the late John Stec, he grew up in East Bridgewater and attended East Bridgewater schools.
Mr. Stec was a self-employed general contractor for 20 years and was currently employed with College Town Glass Co. in Bridgewater.
He enjoyed train collecting & rebuilding Harley bikes.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, George S. and Zachary J., both of Lakeville; his nephew and niece, Jake and Julie Biss, both of Raynham. Also survived by many people who loved him.
His Funeral service will be held in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rt.18), Bridgewater, Wednesday at 10 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
