Paul L. Baglini, 87, formerly of Smithfield, died, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Anne Marie (Palumbo) Baglini. They had been married for 63 years before her death in June 2017.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis G. and Angelina D. (St. Angelo) Baglini. He was a Salesman for International Supply before his retirement. He was a member of the Smithfield Lodge of Elks, #2359 and a member of the Alpine Country Club.
He is survived by his devoted children, Judi Zarrella and her husband Vincent of Saunderstown, Steven Baglini and his wife Sharon of Houston, Texas and David Baglini of Smithfield. He was the father of the late Paul Baglini, Jr. He was also the cherished Papa of Steven, Eric and Christopher Zarrella and Justin, Adrianna and Selena Baglini and brother of Antonetta Sardelli of East Greenwich, John Baglini of Cumberland, Edward Baglini of North Providence and Robert Baglini of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Joseph Baglini.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Monday 8:30-10:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. . In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
