Worcester-Robert Berberian, 77, formerly of 110 West Street died Saturday, Jan 21, 2006 in Saint Mary’s Healthcare Center. He leaves a sister, Estella Berberian, of Worcester and several cousins. Robert was born in Worcester, son of Nishan and Mary (Garabedian) Berberian. He was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade School and had worked as a coil winder for the O. S. Walker Company for many years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Robert was a member of The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, the Vernon Hill Post of the American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans. He was an avid Red Sox fan and supporter.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 am in The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 pm in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to The Armenian Church of Our Saviour.
