Beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Carla A. (Robb) Marcotte, age 65, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill, following a lengthy illness.
She was the beloved wife of Richard D. Marcotte, with whom she celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2019.
Born in Silver Spring, Maryland on November 8, 1953, she was the daughter of Maurice R. Robb of Fredericksburg, VA and the late Barbara C. (Morris) Robb.
Carla was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1972.
Prior to her illness, she was employed as a Teacher’s Aid by Dynamic Foundations for Families Learning Center in Pelham, NH.
Carla enjoyed spending time in Rockport, MA and the beaches of Delaware, gardening, cooking, card and board games, attending musicals with her husband in Boston, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters, Lauren A. Morin and her husband Noel, and Candice G. Dyer and her husband Michael all of Haverhill; six grandchildren, Maxen, Hadley and Hudson Morin, Michael and Charlotte Dyer, and Samantha Cotter; her sister, Marcia Bicknase of Elgin, IL, many nieces, including Amber Cerda and her husband Mario of Westchester, IL, nephews, and cousins; her step-mother, Irene Robb of Fredericksburg, VA; and step-brother, Chris Robb.
Carla was the mother of the late Gregory P. and Adam J. Marcotte, and step-sister of the late Michael Robb.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 9-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Harborside Hospice, 23 Atkinson Depot Rd., Plaistow, NH 03865 is suggested.
