New Bedford – Peter Przystarz, age 60, of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at home. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Carpenter) Przystarz, whom he had been married to for 33 years.
He was born in New Bedford, MA on September 27, 1959 to the late Louis S. and Alice M. (Anthony) Przystarz. He was in the last graduating class of the New Bedford Vocational High School located on Hillman Street. Peter had worked as a fork lift driver for American Flexible Conduit and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings football team .
He is survived by his wife, Anne; son, Michael Przystarz and his wife Sarah; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary and Nekoda; brother, Paul A. Przystarz; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can kindly be made to the Holy Family Holy Name Elementary School or to the N.F. Northeast Family & Community Committee.
Peter’s visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Monday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
