Obituary

Worcester – Charles “Chuck” Gilman, 75, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 6th after a brief illness.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Helen M. (Bofonchik) Gilman; two sons, David Gilman of Gardner, MA and Eric Stenman of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Mr. Gilman was born in Worcester, son of the late Clarence and Lillian (Burdette) Gilman and is also predeceased by his siblings, Clarence, Raymond, Earl and Barbara.
Chuck graduated from the former Commerce High School and most recently worked for the past 15 years at Lowe’s Home Improvement retiring due to illness. He was an avid woodworker and could often be found making chairs, dollhouses, Christmas ornaments or any other type of items for his family. Chuck may longer be with us on a day to day basis, however, his family will be able to cherish the gifts that they have been given for a lifetime.
