Worcester - Margaret Rita (Champagne) Thibeault, 88, of 12 Lowell St. died Sunday Nov. 18 in her home after being stricken ill.
Her husband Joseph L.H. Thibeault died in 1983. Mrs. Thibeault leaves two sons Richard R. Thibeault of Worcester and Alfred A. Thibeault of Auburn; two daughters Marie B. Hippert of Leicester and Pauline I. Kimball of Sturbridge; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by a son Paul H. Thibeault, a daughter Claire A. Hippert, a brother Edward Champagne and a sister Irene Madore. Mrs. Thibeault was born in Worcester daughter of Cyprien and Roseanna (Beaudette) Champagne.
Mrs. Thibeault was amember of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday Nov. 21 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St.. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday Nov. 20 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joslin Center for Diabetes.
