BUXTON- Edith Charlene Garrigan “Dee Dee,” 71, passed away peacefully on Oct 2, 2019 at her home.
Born in Ellsworth, ME, she graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1966. She was employed at Barber Foods for 30 plus years.
She was predeceased by her husband George Garrigan. She was an amazing mother to her four children and Wayne Foss of Buxton, Michelle Foss of South Portland, Kristy Pendexter of Saco and Bobbi-jo Felix of Georgia, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren who referred her to Gigi. She had amazing strength and even more an amazing heart. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten
A memorial service to celebrate Edith's life will be held on Monday evening, Oct. 7, at 7 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will be at a later date at South Buxton Cemetery.
