Mrs. Carmelina M. (Patane) Milne a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late George J. Milne, passed away at her home on Monday afternoon, September 30, 2019. She was 94 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on April 12, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Sebastiana (Ali) Patane and sister of the late Louis Patane. Carmelina was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1943. She enjoyed cooking, painting and embroidery. She also loved to play bingo and cards with her many friends. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews; Joseph Patane of Miami, Florida and Millie Patane, of Miami, Florida, Jeanette Manent of Orlando, Florida, Maureen Milne of Andover and George and his wife Cynthia Milne of Andover, Rosalie Crowley of Methuen, Jack and his wife Sally Milne of Naples, Florida and cousin; Joseph Ali of Raleigh, North Carolina, sister-in-law; Isabel Patane of Florida. Carmelina was also the friend of Wayne Leocata of Lawrence and was the companion of the late Fred Leocata.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover.
