Michael J. Froh, 61, of New Bedford died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Catherine "Cathy" Santos-Froh who was his partner, friend and the love of his life.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Harlyn and Lucille (Mayer) Froh, he grew up in Acushnet before moving to New Bedford.
He was employed as a welder and fabricator all of his life.
Michael was a proud member of the Independent Bikers Federation (I.B.F.) for over 20 years. He was also a member of the Sippican Rod and Gun Club.
He was always there to lend a helping hand, loved to entertain and was the life of the party with his gift of storytelling always filling the room with laughter. He loved his friends and family and was a wonderful grandfather who enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren every chance he had.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy; three sons, Chad Froh and his wife Becca of Des Moines, IA, Ryan Froh of Cape Coral, FL, and Eric Froh and his companion, Brittney Pollard of Fairhaven; three brothers, Harlyn "Butch" Froh and his wife Kimberly of Rochester, David Froh and his wife June of Fairhaven, and Mark Froh and his wife Karol of Acushnet; and five grandchildren, Iria, Graysen, Evelyn, Irie, and Maddox.
He was predeceased by his son, Joshua Baptiste Wedge.
