FALL RIVER…. Anastazia (Cholod) Martyszyn Hryciw, 95, passed away Monday at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.
She was the widow of Dmytro Martyszyn and Stanley Hryciw.
She was born in Kaminka-Lasowa, Ukraine a daughter of the late Ivan and Pelagia (Kulynez) Cholod and had lived in the United Sates since 1946.
Mrs. Martyszyn Hryciw was employed by Shelburne Shirt for 40 years retiring in 1987.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Fall River where she was active in the Ladies Guild.
She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and cooking.
Survivors include a daughter Helen Martyszyn of Groton, NH, 2 granddaughters: Robin and Jennifer, a great grandson Andrew S., several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Bohdan Martyszyn and was predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Mass of Devine Liturgy will be said Friday at 11 AM at St John the Baptist Ukrainian Church, 327 Center Street, Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Friday from 9-10:30 AM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
