New Bedford – Virginia Teodoro Arruda, age 94, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at home. She was the beloved daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (de Jesus) Teodoro.
Virginia was born in St. Michael, Azores and moved to this area in many years ago where she worked as a conveyor inspector at Colonial Textiles later becoming a homemaker.
She is survived by her 3 daughters: Grace Lopes of Idaho, Alda Marques of New Bedford, and Filomena Cavanaugh of California as well as 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Virginia’s graveside service will take place on Wednesday September 25th at 12:30 P.M. at Rural Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
