Edwin A. Sheck, Jr., 77, of Franklin, died Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Richards) Sheck since 1965.
Born in Newton on October 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Edwin A. and Esther (Power) Sheck.
Mr. Sheck was a resident of Franklin for the past three years and formerly resided in Norfolk.
Before his retirement, he worked as a charter bus driver for many years.
Mr. Sheck was a member of the Orient Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Norwood and the Eastern Star.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Deborah Sheck of Canton, two sons, Gregory Sheck and his wife Christine of Franklin and Tracey Sheck and his significant other Patti Chianese of Blackstone and three grandchildren, Brandon, Tayla and Violette.
He is also survived by two brothers, Donald and Wayne Sheck, both of Waltham and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Richard Sheck.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 26 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a service at 7 p.m.
