Michael J. Clarke, age 64, passed away on September 19, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 20, 1955 in Springfield, a son of the late Francis and Patricia (Sullivan) Clarke. He worked for many years as a bus driver for the PVTA. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching his favorite New England Sports teams, Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox. He was most proud of his Irish Heritage. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Jean (Jekanowski) Clarke of Chicopee; 2 daughters Caitlyn Clarke of Chicopee, Breeanna Clarke of Springfield and a step daughter Aimee Draugelis of Chicopee; 1 sister Carolyn Meuse of Ludlow; 2 brothers Thomas Clarke of Feeding Hills and Stephen Clarke of Ludlow; He is predeceased by his brother Daniel Clarke. He also leaves behind his loving K9 companion Kacie and many fur grandbabies. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee and the burial will be held privately at a later date.
