Therese L (Nadeau) Parent, 91, of Berlin NH, passed away on Saturday September 14, 2019 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin and was the daughter of Armand and Valeda (Allen) Nadeau and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1947 and had been employed at Sears for a time and then worked in the office of JC Penney, retiring after 26 years. Therese was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, was a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne and was a foster parent for several children.
She married Raymond Parent in 1951 and raised 4 children. She was a very kind, loving wife and mother and devoted to her family. She leaves behind her 4 children. Denis Parent of Manchester NH, Louis Parent and wife Joan of Berlin, NH, Claude Parent and wife Janine of Salem NH, and Lise Ann Beaulac and partner Robert Morrissette; 10 grandchildren, John Parent, Katrina Smith, Brian Parent, Matthew and Michael Beaulac, Whitney Sullivan, Jillian Cyr, Kaylen Parent, Lauren Gray, Laurita Parent. 10 great –grandchildren, Jade Parent, Raymond Richie, Paxton and Van Smith, Aiden Scott-Beaulac, Nina and Devin Beaulac, Russell and Claire Sullivan, and Joshua Cyr . Siblings include Jeannine Marble, Georgette Morency, Paul Nadeau and wife Priscille, Marcel Nadeau and wife Lucille, Albert Nadeau and wife Terry, sister- in -law Theresa Parent and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her son in law Thomas Beaulac, daughter in law Coulette Parent, brother Roger Nadeau and his wife Lorraine, brother in law Marcel Morency, Brother- in- law, Leon and Richard Parent, sister-in –law Irene Boisvert and husband Leo, and grandchild Jennifer Lynn Parent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 21 at 10 am at St Anne Church of Good Shepard Parish. Interment will follow in the St Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin NH on Friday September 20th from 7-9 PM.
