Rochester, NH: Edmond O. Sicotte age 92 of Rochester went to his eternal rest on Monday, following a period of failing health. He was a man who was devoted to his family and his wife the late Anita A. (Maher) Sicotte. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mina (LeBel) Sicotte. A resident of Salem, Massachusetts for many years, he was employed by the former A.C. Lawrence Leather Co. of Peabody. He retired in 1975 and in 1985 moved to Rochester, NH from Salem. A religious man, he was a former member of the Holy Name Society of Ste. Anne Parish of Salem and was currently a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Rochester. Mr. Sicotte was also an avid bowler and member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2048 of Rochester.
He is survived by 4 daughters: Lucille Cryan and her husband David of Wallingford, CT, Carol Newton and her husband Robert of Lowell, MA, Jeanne Brusso and her husband Brad of Sanford, ME, Florence Randall and her fiancé, Jim Jones of Sanford, ME, a son: Paul Sicotte of Sanford, ME, a brother: Roger Sicotte of Cochituate, MA, 6 grandchildren: Sherry & Christina Brusso, Paul Cryan and his wife Liz, Kim Kaltsas and husband Bill, Maryann Cryan, Robert Newton, 6 great-grandchildren: Jessica & Brett Brusso, Amanda Cryan, Stephen, Michael & Nicholas Kaltsas. He was predeceased by his devoted companion Ellen Mari and 4 brothers: Rene, Leo, Lucien & Albert Sicotte.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday, January 21st., at 9 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem, MA [Rt. 114 / 1-A] followed by his funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10 am. Visiting hours: Friday 4 to 8 pm. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem, MA.
