Obituary


We can only imagine the joy on Frances Schnuck Hardman’s face when she met Jesus on Thursday evening, September 12, 2019, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Chesterfield, IN. Frances was born on December 8, 1939 and reared in Atlanta, GA.
Frances, 79, was preceded in death by: her parents, Lloyd Schnuck, Sr and Caroline Schnuck; her husband, Kenneth Hardman; her daughter, Michelle Howell; her brother, George Thomas “Tom” Schnuck and her sister-in-law, Barbara Schnuck.
She is survived by her 3 children, Michael Forrest, Kathryn (Kim) Forrest & Matthew Hardman; 6 grandchildren, Kat Forrest, Jessica Howell Edwards, Travis Howell, Kadin Hardman, Kennady Hardman and Karigan Hardman; 4 great-grandchildren, Malia Wright, Clara Edwards, Zachary Edwards and Charlotte Edwards; 2 sisters, Carole (Bill) Spotts, Patricia (Garry) Tolliver; 1 brother Lloyd Schnuck, Jr, 1 sister-in-law, Kay Schnuck along with cousins and multiple nieces and nephews.
She completed her Undergrad at Anderson (College) University and Masters in Education at Ball State University. Her entire professional career was served as a Social Worker for the State of Indiana and an Educator within Anderson City Schools. She enjoyed worshipping, serving and singing in the choirs and Eastside and Park Place Church of God.
Fran loved genealogy and served as family historian. She was an active member in the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution, Kikthawenund Chapter and founding member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Anderson Chapter.
Rest in peace sweet sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend!

The celebration of life will be Monday , September 16, 2019 at 12 Noon. The family will receive visitor’s at Park Place Church of God (501 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012) from 11 am – Noon with funeral service immediately following at Noon. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Schnuck Hardman Scholarship Fund at Anderson University or donate to a charity of your choice.
