FALL RIVER – Barbara F. Millerick, 55, died Wednesday, August 28, at St. Anne’s Hospital. Daughter of the late Barbara Horne Cowling and Russell Cowling. Barbara mostly worked as a server in the hospitality industry and certainly had the personality for it. Barbara had a passion for movies and music and loved to dance. She was a real prankster and had a quick wit and amazing sense of humor. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, as she was to them.
Barbara leaves behind three daughters, Tiffany and Meghan Millerick and Kaitlyn Belisle and her fiancée Stephanie Macedo; a brother, Larry Cowling, of Fall River; two sisters, Janet Tavares and late husband Manuel Tavares of Fall River and Joanne Moore; and her loving companion, James Mattos of Tiverton, and his family. She leaves behind 5 beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Kaylee, Samantha, Skyla, and Ronald. She also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends.
Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, September 13th from 4-7 P.M.
