Richard William Arnold, aged 87, born on March 3, 1932 in New Bedford, MA passed away after a short illness on September 3, 2019 in Palmer, Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by his mother Vivian (Gonsalves) Wilkinson and his step-father Elmer Wilkinson, brother Paul Wilkinson. He is survived by his cousin and guardian Richard W. Crow and wife Sherry of Londonderry, NH, his nephew Dennis Wilkinson and niece Linda Esposito. Also Fred and Kathy Demers, longtime friends of Richard and his family.
Richard worked part time at the Center for Hope in Southbridge, MA, which he enjoyed very much.
Many thanks to the staff from the State of Massachusetts DDS in Palmer for their care and concerns for Richard over the years and to the staff at the Center of Hope for their work with Richard.
Arrangements are being handled by the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford, MA. His service will take place on Monday, September 9th, at 1 p.m. at the Wilson Chapel. Followed by internment in the Rural Cemeter
