Clinton Lamar Randall, 80, of Horn Lake, MS died Wednesday January 18, 2006 in the Yalobusha County Nursing Home. Born in Cleveland, MS ,Mr. Randall lived in Water Valley for many years and drove a truck for Mott's Inc for 25 years before he retired and moved to Horn Lake, MS. He was a member V.F.W. Post, civil Defense, and served as a Deputy for the Alcorn County Sheriff's Dept. Mr. Randall pastored in Corinth, MS and Picayune, MS. He was a member of the Southaven Church of God and attended Gatewood Church of God in Coffeeville, MS. A Veteran of WW II , he served his country in the US Army and received a Bronze Star Ribbon, Phillipine Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct , Victory Ribbon 2, Overseas Service Bar and Meritorius Unit Awards.
Visitation will be Friday night, January 20, 2006 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM with Funeral Services in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks at 2:00PM Saturday, January 21, 2006 with Rev. Freddie Moorman officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS. Serving as pallbearers are: John Randall, Jason Womble, Dustin Person, Cody Person, Jeff Bynum, Scott Scala and Tony Hernandez.
Surviving Mr. Randall are: wife, Mary Lorene Randall, of Horn Lake, MS: daughters Carole Moorman and Bettye Perrine Randall both of Water Valley, MS: Sons, David Randall of Southaven, MS and Samuel Randall of Water Valley, MS. He leaves 8 grandchildren: John Randall, Heather Moorman Bynum, Hope Moorman Hernandez, Jason Womble, Autumn Perrine, Christy Randall Glasscock, Felicia Perrine Scala and Chasity Randall and 8 great grandchildren: Dustin Person, Cody Person, Trey Pipkin, Garrett Bynum, Scotty Scala, Bryana Scala, Drew Scala and Brandon Glasscock.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hamilton Lamar Randall and Tabitha Maddox Randall, and brother Leonard Randall.
