Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Sandra M. (French) Pellegrino, age 75, A resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, passed away at her home peacefully with her family on September 2, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of Frank J. Pellegrino with whom they recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on August 19, 2019.
Born in Charlestown on September 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John J. Deveau and the late Elsie (Ford, French) Deveau.
Sandra was raised in Charlestown, attended Charlestown schools and graduated from Somerville High School.
Prior to Sandra’s passing, Sandra assisted in the success of B & R Glass Company with her beloved husband. Sandra also owned and operated Flowers by Sandy.
Sandra had a passion for floral design, personalized card making, and loved traveling to Foxwood’s Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun with her family.
Sandra is survived by her husband, cherished by their children, Karen and David Couture Jr. of Dracut, Pamela and Alfred Ferri III of Farmington, CT, Sandra and Steven Harvey of Tewksbury, Michael and Laurie Pellegrino of Chelmsford, David and Rachel Pellegrino of Tewksbury; twelve grandchildren, David III and Matthew Couture, Amy and Bryant Gauthier, Maria and Alfred Ferri IV, Jesslynne Harvey, Edward Guide Jr., Abigail, Olivia and Elliot Pellegrino, Anthony and Joseph Pellegrino; great grandson Henry Gauthier; and sister, Mildred (French) Cacicio, wife of the late Gus Cacicio of Medford; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours are Sunday, Sept. 8, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Monday, Sept. 9, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury.
