Robert Francis McClain, 59, of Derry, NH, died Monday September 2, 2019, in High Point Hospice, Haverhill, MA. He was born in Wilmington, DE on June 23, 1960, a son of Elmer McClain and the late Theresa (West) McClain. Robert was a lover of the outdoors, spending his time fishing and hiking with his son or out in the garden. Being a 'sun worshiper' he also greatly enjoyed time spent at the beach.
In addition to his father, Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Christine McClain; son, Cullen McClain; daughter, Mercedes Magee; two brothers, William and Elmer McClain; sister, Tina Lindgrin and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held Monday September 9, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 5 Rockingham Rd., Londonderry, NH. Funeral services were held on Tuesday September 10, 2019 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Rd., Derry.
