Baby Alexis Marie Grantham, infant daughter of Braxton Grantham and Leah Gay Grantham of Tifton, was born and passed away Friday, August 30, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held for Baby Alexis at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Jimmy Cargle will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, September 2, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Andy Hanson, Eli Robinson and Andrew Pate will serve as pallbearers.
In addition to her parents, Baby Alexis is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Grace Gay of Tifton; her grandparents, Nina Steverson, Donnie Gay and Braxton B. Grantham IV, all of Tifton; her great-grandparents, Ann and Pete Mathis, Larry and Ruby Nell Gay and Ann and Braxton Grantham III, all of Tifton; her aunts, Dawn Warren and Hannah Debruyl, both of Tifton; her uncle, Jamie Gay of Tifton; and several cousins.
Baby Alexis was preceded in death by an aunt, Justina Gay.
