CHICOPEE ~ William W. “Bill” Willette, 68, a former longtime resident of College Street in the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He passed into Eternal Life at the Holyoke Health Care Center surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on October 25, 1950, a beloved son of the late Harvey E. and Rita A. (Bolduc) Willette. He was raised in Fairview, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and lived in Chicopee most of his life. He was formerly employed as a machinist at Mold-Tech in the Willimansett section of Chicopee. He leaves his two loving children, Robin H. Willette of Chicopee and Aaron M. Willette and his wife, Mary, of Brooklyn, NY; his cherished granddaughter, Tiersen Willette-Lopez of Chicopee; his four dear siblings, Viola M. Bunnell and her husband, William, of South Hadley, Barbara A. Willette of Chicopee, Kenneth R. Willette and his wife, Lori, of Ware and Ann Willette-Anderson of Frederick, MD; his former wife, Deborah L. (Swol) Willette of Chicopee; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the family. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his dear brother, Harvey E. Willette. His Funeral Services and Burial are private at the convenience of the family.
