Carlton E. Parker, 70, of Fall River, peacefully passed on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Barbara J. (White) Parker.
Mr. Parker was born in Fall River, son of the late Clinton E. and Gertrude L. (Raymond) Parker and had resided in the Westport and Fall River areas for most of his life. He was the owner/operator of Parker & Sons Trash Removal of both Westport and Fall River and for the last 5 years, had worked for Viti Mercedes in Tiverton, a job he truly loved. Mr. Parker coached Westport basketball and baseball. He loved camping, playing cards on Saturday nights and traveling to Aruba. He was an avid Patriots fan.
Survivors along with his wife include his 2 sons: Gary W. Parker and Scott C. Parker and his fiancée Dana; his daughter: Carlene Rondeau and her husband Michael; a brother: Clinton E. Parker and his wife Debra; 5 grandchildren: Ian, Parker, Sophia, Jude and Peighton; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Potter Funeral Home at 3:30 P.M.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 1-3:30 P.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
