Carlton "Nick" Nickerson, August 22, 1947 - August 20, 2019. Born in Panama he came to USA in his teens where he made Boston his home. He lived for his family, was a friend to everyone he met and was a brother and father figure to many. Survived by his wife Joselina Guardado and their children, Andrew Nickerson and Alexander Nickerson. Also survived by his children from his first wife; Victoria Nickerson-Ortiz and her husband Wilberto Ortiz and Carl O. Nickerson and his partner Tatiana Shmeleva as well as his grandchildren, Benicio, Delia and Roman Ortiz and Carl Isaiah and Kai Nickerson. He was the youngest of seven brothers and uncle to many nieces and nephews. 1974 Graduate of UMass Boston in Sociology. He worked for 36 years as a Boston Public School Administrator of Student Assignments. His favorite hobbies were gardening, music (playing his drums), traveling and finding adventure. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday August 29 from 6-9 PM. His family will gather again at the funeral home on Friday August 30 from 10 am until 11 am before traveling in procession to Oak Lawn Cemetery for interment services there.
