North Attleboro- Theodore D. Hoppe, 70, of North Attleboro died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born Nov. 21, 1935, in Brighton, he was the son of the late Theodore J. and Mary A. (Duane) Hoppe.
Mr. Hoppe grew up in Newton and graduated from Boston Latin High School.
He received his bachelor’s degree in business from Boston College, Class of 1957.
Mr. Hoppe was a Freight Salesman for over 20 years, retiring from Crete Carrier Corp.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Hoppe had been a resident of North Attleboro for 30 years.
He is survived by his children, Marybeth Coakley and her husband Bart of Bridgewater, Theodore J. Hoppe of Newton, Kathleen A. Hoppe of Nantucket and Sarah Vitallaro of Plainville; his sister and brother, Mary Posanka of N.Y., and Thomas P. Hoppe of Centerville; and his grandchildren, Julia, Olivia and Hunter Coakley of Bridgewater and Teddy and Elizabeth Hoppe of Newton. He was also the brother of the late Elizabeth Lee.
His Funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Friday at 9:45 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-8 pm.
