Ronald P. Villeneuve, 71, of Berlin, NH passed away on August 24, 2019. He was born in Berlin on August 15, 1948, the son of the late Philip and Beatrice (LaRoche) Villeneuve. He was a lifelong resident of Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School. He loved skiing and was the winning goalie for Berlin High School in the 1967 tournament. Ronald was a US Army Veteran and a proud member of the 8th Airborne Infantry Division. He was employed by the local paper mill, and later on the pipe line as a welder.
Ronald is survived by his children: Robert Villeneuve of Berlin, NH, Kim Villeneuve of North Conway, NH, and Jamie Monica of Bartlett, NH; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings: Normand Villeneuve of FL, and Fernand Villeneuve of Plattsburg, NH, Pauline Vien of Berlin, NH, Lillian Colbeth of Berlin, NH, Olive Couture of Berlin, NH, Richard Villeneuve of Berlin, NH, Rita Dube of Milan, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jean (L’Heureux) Villeneuve; sisters Jane Villeneuve, Lorraine Baillargeon, and Cecile Gagne; and granddaughter Natalie.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. There will be no calling hours.
