Ritia Sumner, 76, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Thursday, August 22, 2019, at her residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Sumner was born July 9, 1943 in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Birdie Otto Hall & Marguerite Ann Keefer Smith. She lived in the community all of her life and was a secretary for Swanson’s Country Collison and also a secretary in shipping at Modern Textiles. Mrs. Sumner was a member of Dorminy Mill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, David Richardson of Irwin County; a daughter, Mary Lynda English of Irwin County; grandchildren: Roy Daniel English of Irwinville, Marissa English of Ocilla and Justin English; two great-grandchildren: Isabelle English and Ethan English.
The family suggests those desiring to send memorials, may send them to their favorite charity.
