New Bedford – Rafaela Pizarro, age 84, of New Bedford passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Angel Acevedo.
Rafaela was born in Loiza, Puerto Rico to the late Marcel Pizarro and Rafaela Osario. She moved to this area where she was a loving homemaker to her family.
Rafaela’s visiting hours will be held Thursday evening, August 22nd from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning, beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
