Obituary

Patricia A. (Schofield) Geysen 82, of Franklin, died peacefully, Sunday, August 18, 2019 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John T. “Jack” Geysen, who died in 1992.

Born September 23, 1936 in Boston, a daughter of the late Vincent and Edith (Huestis) Schofield, she was a longtime Franklin resident and previously lived in Plainville.

She was raised and educated in the West Roxbury section of Boston and was devoted to her late husband, her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed going to the beach, writing letters, visiting with her grandchildren and talking on the phone with her sisters.

Patricia is survived by her children, John J. Geysen and his wife Joy of Attleboro, Jean Marie Geysen of Blackstone, Janet Gardner and her husband Jim of Blackstone, Deborah Coleman of Plainville, a sister Pauline McCormick of Franklin, 13 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Robert Gorman and sister of the late Nancy Schofield, Trudi Ebbs, Vincent Schofield, Jean Maddox, Gen Schofield and Edith Kemp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral service Monday August 26th, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver St. Franklin at 1PM.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
