Yvonne M. Morin, 92, of Salem, NH, passed away Tuesday August 20, 2019, in the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brighton, MA on August 1, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Eva (Ouellette) Lanouette. Yvonne was raised in Brighton, then moved to Lawrence, MA, Methuen, MA, and Derry, NH before settling in Salem. She was married to the love of her life, Joseph V. Morin, Sr., in 1948 at St. Anne’s Church in Lawrence. She worked for AT & T in Andover, MA for 21 years. She was a Rainbow Club member and the Card Club in Methuen. Yvonne enjoyed traveling, going out to eat, meeting people, cooking and playing cards.
She is survived by her four children, Roland J. Morin and his wife Mary of Methuen, MA, Francine Carney of Epsom, NH, Joseph Morin Jr and his wife Joyce of Kingston, NH, Donna Pazolt and husband Paul of Danville, NH, and son-in-law, Danny Thibault of Methuen, MA, seven grandchildren, Brent, Christopher, Bryan, Michael, Sara, Gary and Kara; four great grandchildren, Naomi, Colton, Madison, and Garrett, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph V. Morin Sr in 1993, a daughter, Dianne Thibault in July 2019, grandchildren Catherine and Jessica Thibault, and her five siblings, Corrine Beachesne, Irene Houle, Ronald Lanouette, Phillip Lanouette and Olive Baril.
Calling hours were held on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. NH.
