Jerry William Moore, 74, of Markleville died August 19, 2019 at his residence.
He was born December 28, 1944, in Anderson, the son of Charles E. "Bud" and Ruth (Holt) Moore.
Jerry worked at Delco Remy and also farmed. He belonged to the Indiana A.C. Partner's Club and collected Allis Chalmers Tractors. He loved going to his grandkids and great grandkids sporting events.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley R. (Ridge) Moore whom he married June 14, 1964; three children, Kelly (Shelley) Lea; Shawn (Misti) Moore; Casey (Jon) Hoschouer; nine grandchildren, Kendra, Caleb, Kole, Daiton, Justin, Devon, Olivia, Noah and Gabrielle; six great-grandchildren, Emma, Charlie, Henry, Chace, Jerry and Allis; brother, Gerold (Tina) Moore and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mike and granddaughter, Tara.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Shawn Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
