Kyong S. “Nancy” Nipper, 74, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held, 3 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Bro. Joey Veal officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Nipper was born March 19, 1945, in South Korea to the late Tae W. Pak & Oak B. Kim. She was a homemaker and while her husband was in the United States Army they lived in Virginia, Illinois, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Hawaii and Korea. Following Mr. Nipper’s retirement from the service, they moved to Fitzgerald in 1990. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Nipper of Fitzgerald; three children and their spouses: Yong Mi Wilson & Darrel of Calhoun, Jimmy C. Nipper & Stacy of Acworth and Belinda K. Bishop & Allen of Waco, Texas; grandchildren: Kevin Stogner, Jennifer Stogner, Joshua Nipper, Braydon Nipper, Amelia Nipper, Ethan Nipper, Zach Bishop and Zoie Bishop; one great-grandchild, Kelsey Stogner and a twin sister and a brother of South Korea. Mrs. Nipper was preceded in death by her parents.
