Nancy Louise Scantlebury, 86 of Ojai, passed away on Friday, August 16 at her home.
Nancy was born on January 28, 1933 in Abilene, Kansas and she was a Ventura County resident for 47 years coming from Carlsbad.
She was a homemaker and an artist working with oil paints, watercolors, and in pencil. She was a mindful and talented craftsperson, forming a meditation club and being active in knitting clubs.
Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Steven and Catherine Brandt, of Ojai; her grandchildren: Brandon, Christina, Brian, Rachelle, and Serena; her 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Scantlebury and her daughter, Sue Ann Feiger Trotter.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
