Robert L. Massey, 64, of Ashburn passed away Tuesday, August, 13, 2019 at his residence.
Robert was born on June 15, 1955 in Rome to the late Alfred and Virginia Lunell Collier Massey. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Baptist Faith. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking. Robert was a family man who loved family get-togethers, especially cookouts.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Massey of Kansas; sister, Priscilla M. (Farron) Wilson of Thomaston; brothers, Richard (Shelia) Massey of Ashburn and Roy (Jeanne) Massey of Sycamore. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Robert's life will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 11:30 Am Saturday at the funeral home.
