Phillip Edward Pemberton, Sr., 70, of Berlin, NH passed away on August 11, 2019. He was born in Baltimore, MD on January 24, 1949, the son of the late Robert Pemberton, Sr. and Zola Pemberton. He had worked as a carpenter and plumber, and was a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also a former member of the Club Joliette Snowshoe, despite his hatred of the cold.
Phillip is survived by his four children, Jodie Pemberton and her significant other Dave Lachance of Berlin, NH, Chad Pemberton and his fiancé Jessica Perreault of Berlin, NH, Phillip Pemberton, Jr. and his wife Audra Pemberton of Newport, VT, and Erik Pemberton and his significant other Justina Aldrich of Berlin, NH. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, Kady Duchesnaye, Asya Langlois, Morgan Pemberton, Destiny Powers, Raven Pemberton, Chad Pemberton, Jr., Danika Pemberton, Colton Pemberton, and Sophie Pemberton; 3 great-grandchildren, Ryleygh Langlois, Benjamin Langlois, and Isabella Wilson; 2 brothers, Robert Pemberton of Berlin, NH and James “Ronnie” Pemberton of Destin, FL; several nieces, and nephews, including Brenda Cavanaugh and Bobby Pemberton; and his former wife and friend, Jodie Letarte-Pemberton.
A service at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Berlin, NH will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 4:00pm. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin and Gorham, NH. For online condolences, please visit www.bryantfuneralhome.net
