Katherine Lee "Kathy" Stephenson, 81, of Anderson died August 7, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born May 28, 1938 in Winchester, Kentucky, the daughter of Lemon Haggard and Mossie (Tripett) Hachworth.
Kathy was a meat specialist at Payless for 50 years. She attended Park Place Church of God. She liked to do home design, floral work, camp and watch soap operas.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack E. Stephenson of Anderson, whom she married October 3, 1959; four children, Gary L. (Mary) Harris of Ohio; Larry Stephenson and Patricia Stephenson both of Anderson and Angela Marie (David) Addison of Florida; five grandchildren, Joshua Harris; Allison Young, Jacob Young, Tyler Addison and Justin Addison; two great-granddaughters, Rylee Harris and Raelynnn Marie Young.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jenny Clark, James Haggard, Gerald Haggard, Robert Haggard and Russell Haggard; and her son-in-law Robert Young, Jr.
Services will be 12 noon, Monday, August 12, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
