Denise Lynn Ali Sweet,64, of Hartford passed away peacefully on Thursday July 25, 2019. She was born in Hartford on April 11, 1955. She is the mother of Nicholas Sweet and Jaime Avilez Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jayden, Trevor, Kaiya and Lilly. Denise also leaves behind her sister Barbara Smalley; sister-in-law Gloria Hargrave and her two daughters-in-law Marianne Sweet and Amy Storey and her nieces and nephews as well as close friends and family and her beloved dog Asia. Denise was predeceased by her mother Shirley Ann Sweet, her sister Shirley Sweet, her brother Tony Sweet, niece Chelsea Smalley and nephew Ronald Sweet.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 3pm in the chapel of the Hartford Community Funeral Home, 380 Maple Avenue, Hartford. burial will be private.
