Roseann Sampson, 50, of Medford, MA, died on Sunday, August 4th at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. She was the cherished daughter of Carmelia (Montieth) Sampson, of Somerville, and the late Peter J. Sampson Jr. She was the eldest granddaughter of the late Peter and Marion Sampson, and the late Paul and Antoinette Montieth.
Roseann was the beloved fiancée of Joseph Pariella of Medford, and the devoted mother of Samuel Berkowitz of Somerville. She was the dear sister of Peter J. Sampson III and his wife Susan, of Wilmington, and the loving aunt of John, Paul, Erin, Peter IV, and Sarah. Roseann was predeceased by her former husband, David Berkowitz, and is survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, August 24th at 3:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and visit with the family from 1:00 PM through 3:00 PM. Interment will be private.
