Obituary



Lillian G. (Florino) Janian, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away Monday, August 6th. She was 87. Born in Boston and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Teresa (Tanso) Florino.

Lillian loved everyone, and was loved in return. She would help anyone in need of help; there was not one person she would turn away. She had a vivacious personality and a smile that was known to light up any room that she walked into. She was dedicated to her family, especially her daughter Donna, and taking care of them was her passion, making them all happy was her main goal in life, and she succeeded on every level.

When Lillian was not spending time with her family she enjoyed watching General Hospital religiously everyday at 2 PM, or sipping on a French vanilla iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts while cheering her beloved Redsox on TV.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Henry Janian. She was the devoted mother of Donna Janian, and the loving aunt of Richard, Jr., Ronald, Robert, Darleen and Diane. She is also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, August 9th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
