Obituary


Mary A. McIsaac, of Medford formerly of Boston's West End, passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital, August 1, 2019, following a short period of declining health. She was 90 years of age. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A.F. McIsaac who passed away in 2004. Born in Boston, Mary was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary (Mignosa) Morello.

Mary was raised and educated in Boston and was a 1945 graduate of Girl's High School. Mary graduated at the age of 17 and it was in that year sadly she lost her vision. Mary eventually settled in Medford with her family and in 1969 she married her beloved Joseph.

Mary enjoyed reminiscing about her days in the West End of Boston, she enjoyed dancing and also enjoyed participating in many different activities over the years with the Boston Aid to the Blind organization. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was the loving sister of Robert Morello and his wife Susan of Medford, Joseph Morello and his wife Martha of North Chelmsford, Richard Morello and his wife June of Reading, the late Sebastiano "Jimmy" Morello and his surviving wife Nimfa. She was the cherished aunt of Robbie Morello and his wife Danielle, Scott Morello and his wife Marisa, Guy Morello and his wife Raquel, MaryJane O'Donnell and her husband Jack, Joanne Morello, Maria Morello and her wife Kathy, Christina Morello, Richard Morello Jr. and his wife Michelle, Christopher Morello and his wife Sandra, Gina Boznak, James Morello and his wife Kristin, Diana McKee, Andrea Duffy, Patricia Strohman and her husband Bryan, the late Joseph Morello and his surviving wife Christina.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, August 7th, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions in Mary's memory may be made the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
