HOLLIS - Paul Michael Swasey passed away on July 30, 2019. He was 55 years old.
Paul was born November 29, 1963 in Portland, son of Everett and Ruth Swasey. He was predeceased by his father Everett P. Swasey Sr., and by his brother Daniel V. Swasey, Josephine Flaherty and Carllee May. Paul is survived by his soulmate Lorainne Riley of Hollis, his mother Ruth Swasey of Hollis, his brothers Everett Swasey Jr. and his wife Ann-Marie of Hollis, David Swasey and his wife Jodi of Oxford, Brad Swasey and his wife Michelle of Hollis, his sisters Theresa Havu and her husband Bill of Buxton, Joan Swasey and her fiancé Rodney Collard of Waterboro, Vickie Spiess and her husband Peter of Massachusetts, a sister in law Kathy Walker of Steep Falls and by many nieces and nephews.
Paul enjoyed tubing in the Saco river. He always had and very much loved his dogs. He was a lover of the Patriots and rarely missed a game. He appreciated spending time with his family and was always at family gatherings. He never left a family function without going around to people giving them a hug, saying goodbye and telling them that he loved them.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 4 from 2 - 4 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
