Obituary

James Loran Harnage, 86, of Tifton died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Ricky Revels will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Mareall Harnage, Lane Payne, Joseph Payne, Jacky Black, Donnie Blanchard and Johnny Bryant will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, January 15, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.

Mr. Harnage was born on December 15, 1919 in Cook County. He was the son of Henry Joseph Harnage and Morris Harnage, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lolla Doris Revels Harnage, who died in 1992. He was a retired truck driver and of the Holiness faith. Mr. Harnage served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had lived in Tift County most of his life.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Bobby Loran and Linda Harnage of Tifton; three daughters, Regina Harnage of Tifton, Geneva Harnage of Tifton and Levenial Harnage of Tifton; one brother, Henry Harnage of Tifton; 16 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren.
