Obituary

SPENCER-Marcel A. Bourbeau, 73, of 112 Smithville Road, died Monday, July 1st in Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester after an illness. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Rose M. (Barbale) Bourbeau; two step-daughters, Gail S. Fortin of Overland Park, Kansas and Kathy R. Delongchamp of Worcester; a sister, Cecile Villeneuve of Berlin, NH; three step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Henry and Robert Bourbeau and two sisters, Mary C. Berry and Yvonne Robichaud. He was born in Berlin, NH the son of Gaudias and Eva (Provencher) Bourbeau and graduated from Berlin High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Bourbeau was a maintenance worker at U-Mass Medical Center for 10 years and was also a construction carpenter in the Worcester area for several years. He was a member of American Legion Vernon Hill Post.

The funeral service and burial will be private. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 7 Oak Street, Worcester, MA 01609. O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is handling the arrangements.
